Hello and welcome to ThunderboltLaptop.com
We’re an independently owned and operated tech review and tutorial website that focuses mainly on detailed computer systems related reviews and buying guides – this includes laptops, monitors, peripherals, PC components, and anything else we find relevant.
The website started with a focus on ThunderBolt technology, as you can tell from the website’s name, since we saw it as crucial for improving computer systems – and from there we decided to expand our range of topics.
Another focus of ours are various tech tutorials that range from fixes to common issues, presenting interesting software that solves some problems, to Linux related tutorials.
The team consists of mainly two people Ed Shway and George Hall. You’ll see most articles attributed to Ed (which is the one writing), but this is mostly because I tend to forget to attribute the articles properly to George, and he doesn’t seem to mind.
In addition to computer system reviews and tech tutorials, we tend to go a bit off-topic with reviews of products that we’re personally interested in – for example George is really passionate about robot vacuums and pretty much anything that helps him with cleaning the house. For that reason we also write about things such as robot vacuum reviews and fixes.
This Is Us
I’m into in various aspects of computer systems, hardware and software. I’m mostly passionate about topics that affect our day to day, but somehow aren’t prominently featured in tutorials or news in an /r/explanlikeimfive manner. I feel like things could be better explained 😠
George is a computer science guy who is passionate about a monitors, 14-inch 16:10 bezel-less laptops, ThinkPads – although since Dell XPS 15 (2020) he may favor Dell, optimizing his living space, reducing the need for cables and any type of clutter, smart lights and probably anything smart home related – as mentioned above, he also likes cleanliness and robots to do the job for him.
We hope you enjoy your stay, and if you want to get in touch with us, then we’d love to hear from you. Feel free to contact us via our contact form and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
